Personal Voice for stories

Bedtime stories use Apple Personal Voice. On your iPhone, go to Settings → Accessibility → Personal Voice to create or manage your voice. If stories won't start, confirm Personal Voice is set up, that Allow Apps to Request to Use is on, then return to Sianna and tap Allow Sianna so iPhone can grant this app access. Creating the voice in Settings is not enough on its own.

Playback while locked

Lullabies and white noise are designed to continue with the screen off. Use the sleep timer in Now Playing or Me if you want audio to fade out automatically.

Credits and licenses

The app is free with no ads. The catalog (version 2.0.0) is 22 lullabies, 42 rhymes, 9 white-noise beds, and 12 original stories. Lullabies and rhymes are Creative Commons or public-domain recordings from Kazoomzoom, Jamendo (including Matthew Mike Cole), and Grant Raymond Barrett. White noise is synthesized. Each track in the app shows its performer.

Kazoomzoom tracks were converted to mono AAC; some rhymes were turned down so the list plays at an even volume. Jamendo BY-NC-ND and BY-ND recordings are included unaltered except for AAC re-encode. Barrett spoken rhymes were split from the three-part recitation and converted to AAC.
